Left pump for 1D elution, right pump for column head dilution and 2D elution. 02 Dual ternary gradient pumps withstand up to 10500 psi, allowing the 2D dimension to use small particle size columns coupled with MS detectors. Achievable functions:
(1) Online desalting: Impurity identification or quantitative analysis under 1D conditions using non-MS compatible mobile phases like phosphates.
(2) Orthogonal separation: e.g., HILIC × RP, SEC × RP, using two columns with different separation mechanisms.
